in response to Starrod82...there is a program here in indiana called caseys. if u apply for tanf u get bumped up to the top of the list. they will pay 100 percent of your daycare so u can go back to school or work.
still down on my luck, i still cant quite go back to work yet because the baby is only 4 weeks old so im having trouble with my electric bill. i applied for help but 2 places said they didnt have enough funding and the third place hasnt given me an answer. My disconnect notice is for the 19 of January and my bill is 550. They are however sending someone to put storm windows in the trailer so it might help with my future bills. if anybody could help please message me.

This will be the 3rd christmas in a row that we will have to miss due to lack of money, i wasnt able to apply for christmas help this year because my car kept breaking down and leaving me and my kids stranded in town so i have scarcely left my house the last 3 months. then on the way to the hospital to have my baby 2 weeks ago the motor cracked and now im without a vehicle and any money i had saved for christmas must now be spent on more responsibilities. mainly cab fare to go get groceries. im hoping i guess that there is a family out there who desires to adopt a family for christmas or would like to just help a family in need

in response to aodtwo...its all in the way we think about our situation. u cant blame anybody all we can do is try to learn from our experiences and build up from there. i've had a hard life too but im not bitter. im very sad sometimes and i used to be suicidal but now i try to look at all the good that has come out of my life and not remember the things that make me feel bad. Just remember that no matter how bad u have had it theres always someone out there that has had it WAY worse, try to imagine being in their shoes and realize that what u have isnt so bad. if u were close i'd invite you over for christmas, i dont have much and we have no gifts for our kids yet but its about being with people and being able to give, not recieve.
